Biography/Description

The quilting group have been established since 1998 when the Multiple Sclerosis Centre Mid Argyll official opened the doors.
They formed as a small group to share skills, make beautiful unique peace’s and to raise much needed funds for the Centre.
The group still stands the same today with many new faces.
The group come together weekly to share a wonderful skill, make unique creations and support one and other.

The Snowdrop Quilters are a very talented group of ladies who meet once a week to work on projects together. They regularly make items to be donated to the centre to help raise much needed money to keep the services going.
The Snowdrop centre, MS Mid Argyll support people with long term conditions across Mid Argyll, Kin tyre, Islay and Jura. This is a critical service to many people across these areas.
The Snowdrop Centre is in the heart of the community in Lochgilphead delivering many services Monday – Friday 9-5, The services are ran by three members of staff, Karen, Laurene and Claire.
When you pop in to visit you will meet the staff, volunteers and the quilters themselves.
