Sabrina Marengo
Biography/Description
Sabrina is an Italian artist based on the West Coast of Scotland, where she has lived since 2019. Deeply inspired by the mystical quality of the Scottish landscape, her work captures the raw energy and quiet intensity of her surroundings: lichen and moss; mist and stones emerging from the ground; lush ferns; roaring waves and crystal-clear waters; and the power of the ever-shifting skies. With a background in illustration and animation, she works with acrylics, pastels, watercolours, and is now exploring oils and abstraction.
