Morag Young

Morag has lived for most of her life on the West Coast of Scotland with her family originating in the Outer Hebrides.

While she does create preliminary sketches on location, her paintings often come to life organically. Her sketches serve as a guide, but her imagination ultimately shapes the composition.

She takes pleasure in the physical art of painting and enjoys experiments with different techniques such as layering paint and collage, tone, colour temperature and opacity.

She exhibits regularly at various Scottish Galleries.
