Biography/Description

Lorna Freytag is an illustrator known for her bold, playful style. Originally from Edinburgh, she has lived and worked in New York, Sydney, London, Dubai, and Glasgow. Now based in Oban, she works from her studio overlooking Oban Bay. Her illustrations are featured in children’s books, magazines, and commercial projects but she’s best known for her distinctive alphabet wall prints. Influenced by retro 60s design and Paul Rand, her simple, vibrant illustrations engage young minds and invite curiosity and fun into nurseries and homes worldwide.

As well as visiting me in my lovely studio I will have a selection of prints, cards and paintings for sale.

LOCATION
The studio is next to the Oban Sailing Club. From Oban drive past the Ferry Terminal car entrance, Past the Manor House Hotel and you’ll see a small park overlooking the sea with the studio at the top.
