Lisa Houston

Lisa Houston is an artist living on Scotland’s west coast. Her work is informed by exploring, observing and recording elements in the landscape whether that be in the ancient oakwoods or walking along the shore at low tide. She is also inspired by time spent on the water sailing in and around the Hebridean Islands. The land takes on a different perspective when viewed from the sea.
Her paintings don’t set out to record a particular view but rather to reflect a memory or emotion about a place once visited.
Her work is exhibited in various Scottish galleries.
