Karen Beauchamp
Karen is fascinated by the land and seascapes on the West Coast of Scotland, in particular the structures and formation of rocks, trees and shoreline which she distils into simple but evocative pieces. Her work is layered and linear, playing with abstract shapes and colours,
She works mainly with relief monotype printmaking using recycled materials to make small limited editions, and one off 3D Collages in box frames.
She also paints in gouache and pastel in complete contrast to her printmaking practice.

Directions: From Tarbert, head south 12 miles on the A83. South Lodge, Ronachan is just over a mile south of Clachan. Take the third driveway on the right after the sign ending the Clachan 40 mph speed limit. If you miss the turning, please continue 60m, then turn in the public car park on the right. If possible leave your car in this car park to avoid any congestion at South Lodge. This car park gives you access to the shore and views of the seals that often lounge on the rocks.
Buses: (926) will stop at Ronachan South Lodge. Be sure the driver knows that you want the South entrance (not north).
