Biography/Description

Jenny Brown is an award-winning seascape artist and retired teacher from Kilmarnock who lives seasonally at Southend, Kintyre. She is a member of Paisley Art Institute and in her 3rd year with Artmap Argyll. Jenny had 3 solo exhibitions in 2024, was selected as a Wildcard artist at Landscape Artist of The Year 2023 & won the Buckreddan Prize at the North Ayrshire Open Art 2022.
Her work in oils is heavily influenced by the stunning beaches and dramatic skies of Southend, Machrihanish, Carradale and West Kintyre, as well as the Scottish Islands.
