Caroline Hunter
Caroline grew up in Orkney, studied History ofArt at Aberdeen University and began painting in 1994. Well known for her understated yet powerful seascapes and subtle still-lifes, her work has a timeless, contemplative quality. Mussel shells, a porcelain bird, birch-woods and winter seas at dusk are expressed in the muted, vibrant tones of Argyll’s light and landscape. She has been a regular contributor and prize-winner at the RGI and RSA.
