Biography/Description

The Old Post office is a tearoom, shop and gallery that’s passionate about local produce and art. Moy castle, a stone circle and beaches are within walking distance, providing endless inspiration for artist’s. The tearoom is exhibiting a new series of landscape paintings by Melissa Humber and original lino cuts by Eden Reeve, alongside a variety of paintings, limited edition prints, mixed media, jewellery and cards by local creatives.
There’s also freshly baked cakes, teas & coffee! Lunch is served 10 – 2pm. Open 10am – 3.30pm, 7 days per week.

It takes approx 35 minutes to drive the scenic single track roads from Craignure to Lochbuie. There is an ancient stone circle and some lovely walks in the area, from the Old Post office car park it takes approx 15 minutes to walk to Moy castle, then follow the footpath for another 20 minutes and you will find yourself on a beautiful beach called Laggan sands.
