George and Gill Stewart
George and Gill Stewart are Love Dove Studio in Kilmartin.
Gill’s painterly approach is in response to objects which intrigue and the surrounding land and sea – a mixture of dialogue between Gill and the paint, never knowing where that might lead.
George is an artist/illustrator working mostly in watercolour and gouache, inspired by wildlife, land and seascapes of Argyll and the Isles. His most recent work has been the challenge of painting in miniature the glowing colour and vibrant atmosphere of life on the west coast.
