Biography/Description
George and Gill Stewart are Love Dove Studio in Kilmartin.
Gill’s painterly approach is in response to things which intrigue her — the surrounding land and sea, flowers and abstract impressions — a mixture of dialogue between Gill and the paint, never knowing where that might lead.
George is an artist/illustrator/cartoonist working mostly in watercolour and gouache, now working in acrylics and inspired by wildlife, land and seascapes of Argyll and the Isles. Also painting in miniature with glowing colour to capture vibrant atmosphere of life on the west coast.
