Louise Oppenheimer
Louise believes that hand weaving both stimulates and calms the mind in equal measure. With wool in hand the head is free to roam while the heart beats in time to the slow process of pulling warp through weft.
Ideas in pen drawings grow into tactile, colourful images on the loom which aim to convey Louise’s deep satisfaction to live in this beautiful place.
Visitors are very welcome to view sketchbooks, touch tapestries and try a little weaving on small frames.
