Biography/Description

Kate is a multidisciplinary artist with an MA in Creative Writing, inspired in all aspects of her creative work by the scenery of Argyll; the ever-changing colour of the sea, the shape of the hills & scents of the forests.
Alongside painting & stitching fabric to create her trademark lampshades & pictures, Kate enjoys working with natural finds & plant materials for cyanotype & gelli printing, and botanical plaster casting.
As well as a chance to see into her kitchen ‘studio’, you will have the opportunity to create a cyanotype print of your own.

Additional notes

You will find the flat between the College and the Royal Mail Sorting Office, opposite the Lochgilphead Caravan Park. It’s the house behind the hedge. Look out for the bunting, go down the side of the house and up the stairs at the back.
