Biography/Description

“Joanna Macy writes that until we can grieve for our planet we cannot love it—grieving is a sign of spiritual health. But it is not enough to weep for our lost landscapes; we have to put our hands in the earth to make ourselves whole again. Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair.”

Directions:
Turn off the A816 (between Lochgilphead and Oban) following the signs to Croabh Haven.
The second left (the first red dot) will take you to ArtMap venue 45 (open weekends)
The THIRD exit left, immediately after that, leads here. ArtMap venue 46 (open 21st -31st August)

The tracks are in reasonable condition and the venue will be clearly sign posted through some farm buildings and past a working garage.

Look out for the numbered red dots!

There is parking for 2-3 cars directly by the tiny gallery venue and alternative parking a short walk away is also available.

It takes approx. 10 minutes to walk up here from the bus stop on the main road.

Open Working Studio 9am – 5pm for the duration of Artmap.
Kat will be working in the hut or somewhere close around.

The hut is TINY, only 2 people max. can view it at one time, but by extending into the yurt space this off-grid venue still works, even on a wet day.

Holding out for fine weather though, as, when the sun shines, this hilltop location, wild garden , big skies and multiple view points all make better sense of this tiny shop and the wild garden’s resident creative!

Tiny makes, tiny baskets and postcard sized originals are all available to buy direct.
Yurt sales are trusted on a donations basis.

CASH ONLY.
