Eva Wolfram
Eva Wolfram is a visual storyteller and invites nature to speak through her sculptures, land art and photography. The intertidal zone shapes her materials and informs her process. When avian flu hit the seabird populations along the west coast of Scotland in 2022 she found herself deeply affected, and her new work reflects the effects of this environmental tragedy. “I have long explored themes of impermanence and fragility”, Eva says. “What has been happening to our seabirds has brought these topics into sharp focus. My work aims to honour this story and let it be told.”
As you reach Campbeltown on the A83 just head towards Lorne and Lowland church tower. Carlinstone Studio is right at the back of it, between the church and Springbank Distillery. There is usually ample parking in Glebe Street, but you can also park at the Springbank car park and reach the studio in less than a minute’s walk.
Two studio windows face out onto Glebe Street, and the studio is suitable for wheelchairs if one step up from the pavement can be mastered.
I look forward to welcoming you!
