Biography/Description
I am an ecological artist and artivist, my socially engaged art practice is embedded in care for the natural world. Through practice-based research my work offers alternative perspectives of shared ecological interdependence. My methodology of ‘immersive gathering,’ uses sensory encounter to explore landscape, species, material and ‘place’.
Open Studio for Artmap will showcase images, text and artworks from socially engaged art projects as well as drawings and paintings.
Foraged tea and cake will be offered in my garden at Wildwood near Ardfern.
