Invitation for artists across Argyll

2024 will be the seventeenth year that artists open their studios as part of the Artmap Argyll red dot open studios trail. This is a well-established event that provides opportunities for people to meet and talk to local artists.

The 2023 event included a mix of familiar and new studios from Mull of Kintyre up to Inch and we’d like to build on that success. We’d like to extend an invitation to artists across the area to take part in this year’s event. Artists who have taken part find that opening their studio is a great way to make contacts, raise their profile and even make some sales.

We are expecting more than 50 studios to take part this year. Studios will be open from Saturday 17 August to Monday 26 August and we are keen for artists who are interested in taking part to get in touch.

The event is open to artists of any discipline and the variety of different styles and work is a real strength. Artists interested in taking part need to sign up by the end of March and they can find more information or get in touch for an informal chat.
