Sculpture and Weaving for Argyll Youth Arts

The fantastic opportunity for young people aged 14 – 25 in Argyll to get the chance to immerse themselves in a traditional art form for a whole free weekend with two of Artmap’s finest artists. Louise Oppenheimer and Melanie Chmielewska will be teaching their unique styles of hand loom weaving and stone carving to a lucky bunch of Argyll’s young people. Supported by Argyll Youth Arts and funded through Creative Scotland’s Time to shine program the workshops are taking place in Tarbert’s Templar Arts and Leisure Centre otherwise known as talc.
